Musicpal bought in Hong Kong. Will the remote control work?

Hi,

I have broken the volume knob of my musicpal which I bought in Hong Kong. To solve the problem, I would like to buy the optional remote control. Will it work?

I wonder because when I bought the musicpal, I was advised that no remote control was available. Also I cannot see any IR receiver on my model of Musicpal.

Thx in advance for your help (Is there a way to order a new knob by the way? it would make my life even easier).
