Yep, I've been using it since the 30th without any problems so far.

According to the instructions issued with the release, there are 2 x versions of the update:

Model Code starting with SSRAA --> use firmware file mpimage.bin
Model Code starting with SSRBA --> use firmware file mp2image.bin

I have the SSRAA version so have loaded the mpimage file. As to the differences between the versions, I cannot say.

Hi, Ive just updated. I had a few a few problems my musicpal update,d but wouldnt show the correct version of the software 1.68 in the information section of the menu. But after a few flashes with the update it worked.
But then the radio locked up and I had to turn it off at the mains and restart it, and now seems to work fine

however I have noticed one thing since updating and that the HTML browser is very sluggish when loading the list of sites, and the loading of the RRS feed are slower compared to the previous update.

why only mp2image.bin is dated 21 April while mpimage.bin was dated 29 MARCH ???

We are sure that mpimage.bin is a firmware of same release of mp2image.bin ??

I've been getting a weird BRRAAAA noise at the start of every MP3. I don't recall it doing that before the upgrade. Other than that I'm not having any problems

This sound comes from the fade-in. Try to disable fade-in on the debug page.

Today my musicpal hang in the night. consequence the alarm didn't go off. Ever since firmware 1.59 and higher
the problem of hanging (although this happend after more than a month) is annoying me (and others).

I give up the hope that it will ever be fixed and will go back again to firmware 1.58
