No Real Audio support, no Italian RAI radio.

Hello,

I've just bought MusicPal and I'm very disappointed to realize that I can't listen to my country's national radio, RAI 1/2/3, etc..

Is there any plan to include Real Audio in the firmware?

Or has anybody found other sources for RAI 1/2/3 (or its podcasts) compatible with MusicPal?

Hi,

I don't think, real audio will be supported in near future. Maybe we get libcook ported to ARM:

OGG and AAC works. RA doesn't work currently.

Come è andata poi con le indicazioni ricevute nella ultima risposta che ha ricevuto riguardo la Rai?

Not that well. In the meantime RAI is still streaming with Real Audio only (the only radio using this format in Italy, maybe even in the world!). But the good news is that all the podcasts work (!), so there is a way to listen to all the RAI programs (listed on the RAI 1/2/3/etc. websites), just one day later (and with no ad!).

Thanks, they work!

One strange thing, they can be added to your "Favorites" in the MusicPal device, but not in the list of stations in vTuner (which is feeding the stations to the MusicPal device). Also, copy-paste of the URL in your browser won't work: it just shows "Video is loading...".

So they seem to work only in the MusicPal device, but that's already a big step!
